The idea for Rentonomic was born out of necessity and sustainability.
We wanted to make sharing and borrowing everyday items easier,
cheaper, and better for the planet.
Terms & Conditions
Item Availability & Owner Approval: Owners may approve or reject any rental.
Platform Fee (10%): A 10% fee is added to each rental. Lister receives 100% of listed amount.
Item Safety: All listed items must be safe, clean, and functional.
Liability Disclaimer: Rentonomic accepts no responsibility for misuse or accidents.
Location Privacy: Only the first half of the postcode is shown (e.g. "YO1").
Prohibited Items: No weapons, illegal goods, hazardous chemicals, or unsafe items.
ID and Handover: Renter must show ID. Lister should document handover with a photo.
Report Abuse: Report any unsafe or abusive behaviour immediately.
Payment: All transactions must be done through Rentonomic's secure platform.
Cancellations: Listers may set their own cancellation policy. Rentonomic may suspend violators.
